About this app

Shopping in a new country? PLens helps you understand unfamiliar packaged products before you buy. Point your camera at a product label and capture it. PLens reads visible packaging text, identifies the product and its category, and presents a clear name and practical details in your selected language. Open the result for more context, including relevant buying facts and cautions when the label supports them. Use PLens for groceries, personal care, and household products. Save products you want to remember, and choose whether scanned photos are added to your photo library. PLens needs camera access and an internet connection for product analysis. Results are generated from visible packaging and may be incomplete or mistaken. Check the original label for allergens, ingredients, safety directions, and other important decisions. A limited number of scans is included. Additional scans and premium access may be available as in-app purchases.
