About this app

Aweigh turns live Washington State Ferries data into a focused departure board, so you can see what matters and catch the next boat. Choose a route and direction to see upcoming departures with delay-aware times, cancellations, sailing notes, drive-up capacity, and reservable space. AT A GLANCE • See every ferry route in one place, with nearby routes and favorites first • View the next sailings or the full schedule, including future service days • Follow boats across Puget Sound on a live fleet map • Check terminal and approach-road cameras before you leave • Read route-specific service alerts and operational notes • Keep useful cached schedule data for offline use ON YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch companion brings favorite routes, next-sailing countdowns, full schedules, cancellations, vehicle capacity, and boats underway to your wrist. SMART, OPTIONAL, AND PRIVATE Location access is optional. It only helps Aweigh sort nearby routes and choose your likely departure direction. In Labs, the experimental Camera Wait Estimate uses on-device computer vision to estimate the drive-up line at supported terminals. WSDOT camera images are analyzed on your iPhone. ~ Aweigh is an independent reference tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WSDOT. Schedule, vessel, capacity, camera, and alert data comes from WSDOT and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. For a trip you cannot miss, confirm details directly with Washington State Ferries.
