StageMirror is a measurement instrument for the way you speak. Record up to three minutes on your phone. StageMirror transcribes the take, counts your filler words, measures your pace and every pause longer than 1.5 seconds, and estimates from the camera where your eyes went and how you held yourself. Then it hands you one thing to fix — with the quote from your own transcript that proves it. Built for founders with a pitch, a demo day or an all-hands coming up. WHAT IT MEASURES • Filler rate — "um", "uh", "like", "you know", counted against your total words. Target: under 2%. • Pace — words per minute. Target: 130 to 160. • Pauses — deliberate silences over 1.5 seconds. Target: 2 to 3 a minute. • Eye contact — the share of sampled frames where you were looking at the lens. • TruthPlane, posture and gestures — where your hands worked, how upright you stayed, how much you moved. Every camera-derived number is an estimate from a phone camera, not a clinical measurement, and is labelled that way everywhere it appears. COACHING THAT HAS TO QUOTE YOU Coaching notes are checked against your transcript before you ever see them. A note that cannot quote what you actually said, or point at a real timestamp in your take, is dropped — and the app tells you how many were withheld rather than quietly padding the list. Recordings are private to your account, deleted on a schedule, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app — Account, then Delete account. WHAT STAGEMIRROR WILL NOT DO It will not score your personality, guess your emotions, or tell you that you seemed nervous. It counts what can be counted, estimates what can only be estimated and says which is which, and stays quiet about the rest.
