About this app

Speed Trip turns your iPhone or iPad into a clear GPS speed display and private journey recorder. See your current speed in MPH or KPH, follow your position on the map and review your journeys later. RECORD AND REPLAY Tap Record to save timed speed and location snapshots. Browse saved journeys by date or calendar, replay a route, scrub through its timeline and adjust playback speed. Review journey duration, distance, average speed and saved average-speed sections. Export journeys as PDF, GPX or JSON. ESTIMATED AVERAGE SPEED Start a fresh average-speed check at any point. Speed Trip estimates your average from the distance and time captured between that check’s start and finish. Run multiple checks during one journey and review each result later. When your device is connected via CarPlay, a Live Activity is shown in the CarPlay Dashboard whenever an average check is running. HANDS-FREE CONTROLS Use Siri to start, pause, resume or stop recording and to start or finish average-speed checks. Live Activities show an active check on supported iPhone and CarPlay displays. Apple Watch controls let you manage recording from your wrist. YOUR JOURNEYS STAY YOURS Journeys are stored on your device, with optional private iCloud sync. Saved journeys, replay, statistics and exports remain available after a trial or subscription ends. A plan is required to record new journeys or start new average-speed checks. CHOOSE YOUR PLAN Monthly and yearly subscriptions include a two-week free trial for eligible new subscribers. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. A lifetime option is also available as a one-time purchase.
