About this app

Your private photos and files, hidden in plain sight. SilentBOX is an encrypted vault that looks like an ordinary app. On your home screen it can be a calculator, a weather app, a notes app, whatever blends into your phone. Someone scrolling through your apps sees nothing worth opening. You enter your secret code and the vault opens. CHOOSE YOUR DISGUISE Calculator, Weather, Notes, Flashlight, Fitness, Recipes, Bird Game, Hunt Log, Scores, Fashion. Each one works like the real thing, because a disguise that does not work is not a disguise. Change it whenever you want. OPEN IT WITHOUT ANYONE NOTICING On the calculator, your PIN is typed on the keypad itself. The screen looks exactly the same whether you are unlocking your vault or working out a tip. A wrong entry looks like arithmetic. There is no error message, no shake, no pause, nothing for anyone standing next to you to notice. WHEN SOMEONE IS WATCHING Panic mode opens an empty vault. Not a locked one, not an error, an ordinary app with nothing inside. Someone who insists on seeing what is in your phone can look for as long as they like. WHAT GOES IN Photos and videos from your gallery. Documents, IDs, financial records, anything you would rather not hand over with your phone. It leaves the gallery and lives encrypted inside the vault. HOW IT IS BUILT AES-256-GCM encryption, on your device. Your key comes from your PIN and nothing else, so nobody holds a copy of it, including us. Unlock with a fingerprint or your face once it is set. No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. WHAT WE WILL TELL YOU THAT OTHERS WILL NOT Your PIN is the whole lock. Four digits will not hold against someone who takes your phone and knows what they are doing. Twelve digits will hold for a very long time. The app says so plainly while you are choosing, in years rather than in coloured bars, so the choice is yours to make with the facts. If you forget your PIN, your files are gone. Not recoverable by us, not by anyone, not from a backup, because a backup opens with the same PIN. There is no reset link. That is what it means for a vault to actually be yours. The one thing SilentBOX collects is the purchase record needed to run the subscription, handled by our payments provider. That is the financial information you see declared on this page. Your files, your PIN, and what you keep inside are never part of it. WHY THIS ONE AND NOT ANOTHER Most vault apps look like vault apps, which tells anyone holding your phone exactly where to push. SilentBOX looks like something nobody would bother opening. A photo vault, a video vault, a file locker and a secret calculator in one, from a company that would rather tell you the truth about your own security than sell you a padlock icon.
