About this app

Shelfo turns anything you'd rather hear than read into an audiobook — made on your phone, in a voice you choose. Paste a note, drop in a link, or open a PDF or Word file. Shelfo pulls out the text, reads it in a natural voice, and puts it on your shelf as a record you can play anywhere: offline, from the lock screen, chapter by chapter. WHAT YOU CAN BRING • Notes, speeches, emails — write or paste them • Articles from a link, with the page clutter stripped away • PDF, Word and text files, including scanned pages • Any page from Safari, through the share sheet HOW IT READS • Ten voices, made on your phone — nothing you write is sent anywhere to be spoken • Keeps your place, sentence by sentence, in every book • Chapters: split a long piece, jump between parts, see where you are on the bar • Playback speed, a sleep timer, and lock-screen controls YOUR SHELF • Every book gets a cover: one of your photos, a picture search, or the colours of its voice • Highlights, listening time, and streaks • Sign in with Apple, and your shelf follows you to a new phone FREE AND PRO Your first book is free, with the first voice. Shelfo Pro takes the limit off the shelf and opens every voice — monthly, yearly, or once for good. Made for people with a pile of things to read and a commute, a kitchen, or a walk to read them in.
