About this app
Some conversations you rehearse in your head for a week and still fumble. Rehearse lets you say them out loud first — to someone who answers back. HOW IT WORKS Pick the conversation you have been putting off. Talk to a character who pushes back the way the real person will: the manager who glances at the time, the report who explains before you finish the sentence, the director who restates rather than rethinks. Then get told, specifically, how it landed and what to try next. THIRTY SITUATIONS, WRITTEN FOR A FIRST-TIME MANAGER • Saying no — to your own manager, to a deadline set by a press release, to the same request asked twice • Difficult people — the defensive report, the one who goes over your head, the colleague who will not use the new tools • Feedback — your first critical conversation, telling your boss a target is not real, answering a question about pay • Standing up for your team — one headcount and two teams, the favour that is really a project • Hard moments — the week after layoffs, a report asking about AI, enforcing a policy you did not choose, someone good who just resigned OR WRITE YOUR OWN Describe the conversation you are dreading and the person you are having it with. Say when it is happening, and it counts down to the day. A CARD TO TAKE IN WITH YOU Every rehearsal writes one: your opening line, the thing you will not trade away, and what to say to the three ways they are most likely to push back. Open it outside the room. THEN THE PART NOTHING ELSE DOES On the day, Rehearse asks about the REAL conversation — not the rehearsal. Whatever you learned comes back as coaching the next time you practise it. VOICE OR FACE TO FACE Talk by voice anywhere, or switch on a lifelike, lip-synced face that reacts while you speak. Voice costs a fifth of the credits. WHAT YOU GET BACK A score out of 100, four dimensions scored out of five, the full transcript, and badges that track how much you have practised — never what you practised. Credits are the only limit. Every scenario is open to everyone.
