SECURITY FIRST Rackline is designed around least-privileged access. Start with a read-only Hetzner Cloud token for monitoring. Add a separate Administration token only if you want to make changes. Credentials are stored in the Apple Keychain on your device. Rackline communicates directly with Hetzner by default — your Cloud API credentials are not sent to a Rackline server. Sensitive and destructive operations use additional safeguards including explicit confirmation and device-owner authentication. RACKLINE PRO Demo Mode remains available without connecting an account.
