About this app

Your next favourite game shouldn't disappear into a forgotten video or screenshot. PlayTonight helps you save games, organise your backlog and choose what to play next. Search the game catalogue, add a game manually, or save a link through the iPhone Share menu. Keep the original source alongside your game so you can return to it later. When sharing from YouTube or TikTok, PlayTonight uses available titles or captions to suggest games. Choose a suggestion or enter the name yourself. BUILD YOUR BACKLOG • Search game titles and explore rotating Discover selections. • Filter the loaded catalogue by platform, multiple genres and release year. • Organise games as Backlog, Playing or Completed. • Add personal notes and track your progress. CHOOSE SOMETHING FOR TONIGHT Choose your platform, mood and available time, then explore a suggestion from your backlog or Discover. Saved preferences help tailor backlog picks; catalogue suggestions use available metadata and estimates. PlayTonight does not guarantee a game's session length. COMPLETE, RATE AND SHARE • Rate finished games and keep your completed collection together. • Share a game card, your backlog, completed games or a selected group. • Choose whether to include covers, status, game links, notes and star ratings. START FREE Save, organise, rate and share your games, with three new Tonight picks per calendar week. PLAYTONIGHT PRO Unlock unlimited Tonight picks and a shortlist of up to three matching games. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available. Prices and any eligible introductory offer are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. No account is required. Your library is stored locally on your device. Catalogue search, artwork, discovery and purchase checks use online services. Game data and cover artwork are provided by IGDB.com. PlayTonight does not include playable games; suggested games may require a separate purchase or download.
