Pictoo is a multiplayer game of drawing and guessing what others drew. In Pictoo, the other players are not your rivals! When players work together, everyone scores more. Players don't chat or talk to each other during the game. In Pictoo, nobody takes turns drawing or waits for their turn. At the start of each round, everyone in the room gets the same four options, each player picks what they will draw, and everyone starts drawing together. Nobody stares at an empty screen waiting for their turn. HOW TO PLAY 1. Pick: Each player chooses what they want to draw from the options on screen. 2. Draw: Everyone draws at the same time until the timer runs out. 3. Guess: Each player tries to work out which option the others picked, just from their drawings. NO TYPING, NO TALKING There's no talking and no typing on a keyboard. No correct guesses lost to a typo, no fighting autocorrect, no keyboard covering half your screen. The game just flows. NOT EVERYONE SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE You can write on the canvas, but remember you're playing with people from all over the world who speak dozens of different languages. In word rounds, everyone sees the words in their own language. HOW YOU SCORE Every drawing you guess correctly earns you points. But the best part is on the drawing side: the more people who guess your drawing, the more points you get. So a good drawing doesn't earn points for just one person, it earns points for everyone in the room. TWO KINDS OF ROUNDS In picture rounds you draw a reference image, and the others try to work out which of four similar pictures you drew. In word rounds you draw a word. Both kinds come mixed together in the same match. NO DRAWING SKILLS NEEDED Really, you don't need any. Pictoo isn't an art contest, it's a game about getting your idea across. Stick figures, wobbly lines, unrecognizable animals: they all work, and the bad drawings are usually the funniest. PLAY SAFE If a drawing or a player name bothers you, you can report it, and you can block any player you don't want to play with. You won't be matched with someone you've blocked again. Reports are reviewed by our moderators, and a player can be penalized or banned from the game entirely if needed.
