About this app
Pepper turns the documents you give it into something you can ask questions of — on your phone, with no connection, and with every answer traced back to the passage it came from. BUILT FOR WHERE THE NETWORK ISN'T Most search tools stop working the moment you lose signal. Pepper starts there. Indexing, searching and answering all happen on the device, so a basement, a job site, a flight or a dead zone changes nothing about what you can find. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY ON YOUR PHONE Documents you import are processed on your device and never uploaded. There is no server copy of your files, and you can remove them at any time. ANSWERS YOU CAN CHECK Every answer names the passages it drew from, so you can read the source yourself. When your documents don't support an answer, Pepper says so instead of inventing one. ANY SUBJECT Manuals, contracts, policies, research papers, field guides, internal documentation. Pepper has no opinion about what your documents are about. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Import PDF, text and Markdown files from your phone • Ask questions in plain language and get sourced answers • Browse and download optional knowledge packs from the Library • Keep searching with no internet connection once you're set up PRICING Pepper is a subscription app. One plan, everything included: • Monthly: $4.99 per month • Annual: $39.99 per year Both start with a free 14-day trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time in Google Play. A connection is needed for first-time sign-in, to check your subscription from time to time, and to download optional knowledge packs. Searching your documents works offline.
