About this app
ou got promoted because you were good at the work. Now the work is conversations. The feedback nobody wants to hear. The no that has to hold. The performance problem everyone has been stepping around for a year. Nothing prepares you for those, and reading about them helps less than you would hope, because the difficulty is not knowing what to say. It is saying it out loud, to a person, while they react. ONO is a voice coach for exactly that. TALK, DON'T TYPE There is no text input anywhere in ONO. You tap once and talk, the way you would to a colleague who happens to be very good at this. It listens, asks the question you were avoiding, and answers back in a real voice, at the pace of a real conversation. REHEARSE THE ACTUAL CONVERSATION Describe who you are dealing with and ONO plays them — the report who gets defensive, the peer who says no, the person who agrees with everything and changes nothing. You practise the opening line until it stops sounding like an apology. Then you hear where you hedged, where you buried the point, and what to say instead. IT REMEMBERS YOUR TEAM The people you mention become part of your Graph: how they take feedback, what they push back on, what worked with them last time. Come back in three weeks and ONO already knows who Priya is and what you promised her. IT KNOWS WHAT IS COMING Connect a calendar, optionally, and ONO can see that the 1:1 you have been dreading is on Thursday. It reads titles and attendees only, never the contents. BUILT FOR THE FIVE MINUTES YOU ACTUALLY HAVE Before the meeting. Walking to the station. In the car outside the office. Sessions are as long as you need and pick up where you left off. WHAT IT IS NOT ONO is not therapy, and it is not your HR department. It is a place to practise, so that the first time you say the difficult thing is not the time that counts. PRIVACY Your voice is never recorded or stored — audio is transcribed and discarded. Everything else lives in your account, and one control in Settings permanently deletes all of it. Your first 30 minutes are free, with every feature unlocked. After that, a subscription keeps the conversation going.
