About this app
NumBan hits the callback number a scam voicemail asks you to dial. Caller ID is easy to spoof. The number that the scammers need you to call back is not. Share the voicemail or a screenshot of one from the iPhone Phone app. NumBan extracts that spoken number, prepares a verified abuse report, and routes it through a NumBan-managed alias. Your personal contact info is never included. After enough independent reports, the complaint is sent to the carrier or RespOrg that hosts the number. NumBan re-checks periodically. When the number reports that it has been disconnected, that is a kill. Kills rank you on the leaderboard. How to file a hit • Open Phone and find the voicemail • Tap Share and choose NumBan • Sign in with your US mobile number if you have not already • Confirm the callback number when asked • Optionally share a screenshot to verify the timestamp when the voicemail was received What you get • A report history for every number you have hit • Push when a number you reported looks dead • A public leaderboard ranked by confirmed kills, not raw filings • Copy-ready notes plus Safari links to FTC ReportFraud and FCC consumer complaints NumBan Pro Free accounts can file 3 verified reports per calendar month. Pro removes that cap and unlocks extra reporting tools in the app. • NumBan Pro Monthly — $0.99 per month • NumBan Pro Yearly — $9.99 per year Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in the app under Manage subscription. Privacy Reports go out from a NumBan relay address. Voicemail audio and screenshots stay private evidence and is never published. Public number pages on numban.com show only aggregate, redacted data. NumBan is a consumer reporting tool, not a law firm, and does not guarantee that a carrier will disconnect a number.
