About this app
MXT8 turns a handful of songs into something you can give. Make a two-sided digital cassette with up to eight songs on each side. Add a title, date, personal note, optional Memory Place, and up to twelve Polaroid-style photographs. The first six open with the tape and all twelve remain in its gallery. Photos can stand alone without a place, and each memory item has its own visibility. Gift the finished tape with one link. Recipients can open it in a browser, hand the ordered songs off to Apple Music or Spotify, and save the tape to their shelf. Your private life map lets you revisit eligible tapes by place without publishing private locations on your profile. MXT8 stores the tape, artwork, memory derivatives, and music metadata. It does not host, own, download, or redistribute commercial music audio. The complete creation, gifting, opening and keeping experience is free, including the Core, Neon and Pride cassette collections. Optional one-time purchases add the Metallic, Neon Clear and Y2K cassette packs without gating the core product. Purchases belong to the signed-in MXT8 account after store verification, restore on supported platforms and use store-localised prices. Physical prints are a separate path. Public profiles and tapes include separate Report and Block controls. Blocked accounts no longer see one another's signed-in profiles, tapes, recommendations or saved access, and can be unblocked from Settings.
