About this app
Musairec is a recorder that understands your song ideas. Riffs and voice notes pile up with no key, no tempo and no chords attached, so finding the right one means listening through them all, and playing it again means picking it out by ear. Musairec keeps your ideas in one searchable library and writes out what you played: the notes as MIDI, the chords, the key and the tempo. An idea stays useful years after you recorded it. It's made for musicians who record a lot and lose track of it: guitarists, pianists, singers and producers with a folder of untitled clips. Record and keep • One tap starts recording, and it keeps going with the screen off. • Import the recordings you already have from other apps. • Name a take and add it to an album now, or sort it out later. Remember how it was played • Audio to MIDI transcription turns a take into notes you can play back, and finds its chords, key and tempo. • Guitar tabs show you how to play it again. • Transcription runs on your device. Your recording isn't uploaded for it. Find it again • Instruments and voice are tagged automatically. • Search by name, tag, key, tempo, date or album, and mark the takes you like. • Leave a note at a point in the take, with a file attached if you need one. With Pro or Studio • Unlimited transcriptions. • Cloud sync keeps your library on every device you sign in on. • Stem separation splits your own recording into parts, so you can hear or transcribe one part at a time. Pro separates the vocals from the rest; Studio separates vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other. • Suggestions show where an idea could go next, in chords or melody, or layer drums and bass under your guitar. They come as MIDI you can edit or ignore, and use monthly credits. • Export MIDI, stems and other files to your DAW. Everything in this section except export runs on our servers. Recording, transcription, tagging and search run on your device.
