About this app

A small creature, a glass jar, and one page a day. Every page is a kind line in the creature's handwriting, with a dry little aside ("(I tried. the jar was fine.)") and three words you can circle. Circle one, or just read it. That's all. If you touch a page, it comes back a few days later, with your pencil mark still on it and a date beside it. "3 days ago you circled 'tired'. Today?" Add one more mark. After five visits the page is finished and stands on your shelf. The notification is drawn on your phone for the moment it arrives: cream in the morning, rose-grey in the rain, dim blue at night with the jar glowing. It comes later on your slow days. Tap "Not today" and it rests. No keyboard. No streaks. No account. Your marks never leave your phone. Lightjar+ ($24.99/year with a 7-day free trial, $4.99/month, or $49.99 once) lets every page you touch keep travelling, and lets you write letters to your future self that come back months later. The free app stays complete. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play. Lightjar offers kind words. It is not a medical or mental-health service.
