HOW IT WORKS Say what you're about to eat, in your own words. Krasis reads the plate for the three things that decide whether food stays with you: protein, fibre and healthy fat. Two of the three and it holds. One, and it won't hold you long — so Krasis names one thing to add. THE RESCUE COMES FROM YOUR OWN KITCHEN Tick what you usually keep in, once. Every suggestion after that comes from that list — no quinoa if you have never owned quinoa. Keep more than one kitchen (home, the office, your parents') and the answer changes with where you are. STILL FULL? A couple of hours later, one question and one tap: starving, fine, or stuffed. It is the only thing Krasis ever asks you, and it is how the app learns what holds you rather than what holds people in general. WHAT IT LEARNS Every meal you have answered for, ranked by how long it actually lasted. Not a chart of what you should have eaten — a record of what worked. WORKS OFFLINE The food table ships inside the app: 274 foods, built from four national nutrition databases. Typing a meal makes no network request. There is no account and no sign-up, and nothing you eat leaves your phone. A FOOD IT DOESN'T KNOW Krasis says so rather than guessing, asks what is mostly in it, and remembers your answer. THE NAME κράσις — the blending of things in due proportion. Hippocratic medicine used the word for the balance of powers in the body.
