About this app

Leave a little of your life where it happened. A favourite café. A familiar beach. A corner of the world you want to remember. In Passing lets you keep memories tied to places. They stay sealed until you’re nearby, ready to open when you return. CAPTURE THE MOMENT Save photos, videos, audio and short notes in Personal places. Add more moments to the same place over time. COME BACK TO THE PLACE Your surroundings are part of the memory. Open a place and view what’s inside when you’re physically nearby. SHARE A PLACE WITH SOMEONE Invite one friend to a private Shared place. Leave photos and optional messages for each other, with both of you returning nearby to view and add memories. Shared currently supports photos and messages. MAKE IT PERSONAL Build your own collection of meaningful places. No public feed, followers or likes. START FREE Keep up to five active Personal places and add more memories within them. KEEP MORE WITH LIFETIME An optional one-time purchase unlocks unlimited active Personal places. No subscription. Both Free and Lifetime include five lifetime remote starts, letting you begin a place somewhere you’re not currently near. Viewing its memories still requires being nearby. Deleting a place does not restore this allowance, and Lifetime does not increase it. PERSONAL AND SHARED STORAGE Personal photos, videos, audio and notes are stored on your device. In Passing does not provide cloud syncing or recovery for Personal content. Shared places use iCloud to share photos and messages with your invited friend. Shared requires iCloud and a supported device and account. Availability depends on system and account requirements. Location permission is needed for nearby access. Some things are worth coming back for.
