About this app

focuswrk turns "I'll focus later" into a session that actually happens. Set a Deep Work Session, and your phone becomes a distraction-free zone: your chosen apps and sites lock behind Screen Time, a live countdown takes over your screen, and — if you wear AirPods — focuswrk gently tells you when your posture is slipping, without ever needing your camera. DEEP WORK SESSIONS • Pick a duration and a task, then let the timer take over. • A calm, full-screen countdown keeps you anchored to the one thing you're doing. • Pause and resume without losing your place — timing is exact, even if your phone sleeps. • Live Activity and Dynamic Island support, so your countdown is visible on your Lock Screen too. DISTRACTION BLOCKING • Choose which apps and websites go dark for the length of your session, powered by Apple's Screen Time. • No willpower required — once a session starts, blocked apps stay blocked until it ends. POSTURE COACHING (AirPods) • Using motion data from your AirPods, focuswrk quietly senses when you're slouching. • Gentle haptic and sound nudges bring your attention back to your posture — no camera, no wearable required. • A daily posture score shows how you're trending over time. YOUR JOURNEY • Track completed sessions, focus minutes, and streaks. • See your posture and focus trends together, so you notice what's actually working. DESKTOP COMPANION (Chrome extension) • Pair focuswrk with our free Chrome extension by scanning a QR code — no account needed. • Starting a session on your phone instantly blocks the same distracting sites on your computer. • A live countdown badge sits right in your browser toolbar, synced to the second. • Posture nudges from your phone show up as quiet browser notifications too. PREMIUM (optional auto-renewing subscription) • focuswrk is free to use, with limited session length and daily posture alerts included at no cost. • An optional Premium subscription, purchased in-app, unlocks unlimited session lengths and unlimited posture alerts. • Premium also unlocks full desktop blocking with the Chrome companion extension. • Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings on your device. • Support the continued development of focuswrk. focuswrk isn't another timer app. It's a quiet system that makes deep, uninterrupted work the default — on your phone and on your computer.
