About this app

How much fiber was in that lunch? Point the camera at it and the number shows up. You get grams, not a vague low, medium or high. Feed Your Gut turns any plate into a gut score from 0 to 100, then tells you the one thing worth adding next time. Photo, barcode or a typed line, all three work. WHAT YOU GET • Fiber in grams, per meal and across the whole day • A gut score from 0 to 100, explained in plain language • 30 plants a week, counted automatically. Herbs and spices count too • The app tells ferments apart properly. Live cultures in kefir count differently from pasteurized sauerkraut • One specific suggestion per meal, instead of a grade you can do nothing with • Barcode scanning for anything on a shelf, including the additives worth a second look • How anti-inflammatory the food is: omega 3, olive oil, turmeric • Protein and calories ride along as estimates and never bend the gut score • Weekly challenges and streaks • Type "sugar free granola" and that is what stays. Nothing gets shortened or renamed • No account, no sign up. Your history stays on your device and in your own iCloud. The photo goes to our server for the analysis and is deleted right after WHY 30 PLANTS The American Gut Project studied more than 10,000 people. Those eating 30 or more different plants a week had more diverse microbiomes than people stuck around 10. Diversity mattered more than the diet label, vegan and omnivore alike. Herbs, spices, seeds and grains all count, which makes 30 more reachable than it sounds. Scan tonight's dinner and find out where you actually stand. Feed Your Gut is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a doctor. If symptoms stay with you, talk to a clinician. SUBSCRIPTION Feed Your Gut is a subscription app, so scanning needs an active plan. Yearly, monthly or weekly, and the yearly plan starts with 3 days free. Prices are shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings.
