About this app

Two photos. One distance to guess. Far Off shows you two cities from around the world, in photos. Your job: say how far apart they are. Type your answer, watch the counter race to the true distance, and the plane draw the route on the map. FIVE GAMES A DAY They refill every night, and everyone gets the same ones. Twenty seconds per game: no time to look it up, just enough to feel the distance. SCORING THAT REWARDS ACCURACY The closer you are, the more you score — up to 1,000 points per game, plus a streak bonus for three good answers in a row. SHARE YOUR DAY A card with your two photos, your answer and the true distance, ready for your messages and social feeds. Or the spoiler-free grid, to challenge friends. A WEEKLY LEADERBOARD The world's top 100, and your exact rank. On Monday, everyone starts again from zero. 300 CITIES, PHOTOS AT EYE LEVEL City views picked one by one: no satellite imagery, no isolated landmark — the city as you see it when you arrive. FAR OFF UNLIMITED Your five daily games stay free. With Far Off Unlimited, play as many bonus games as you want, and they count on the leaderboard too. Local pricing is shown in the app, after a 7-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in your App Store account settings.
