About this app

Chekio is a food-information tool. It reads product labels and food data to help you choose groceries that match your dietary preferences and restrictions, and shows the evidence behind every assessment. Chekio does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor any disease or medical condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice or for reading the label yourself. SCAN ANY PRODUCT • Point the camera at a barcode — a clear answer in a second: Safe, Not safe, or Risk, always with the reasons shown • No barcode? Photograph the ingredient label — Chekio reads it, even in another language • Analyze a meal photo for visible ingredients HONEST BY DESIGN • Gluten-free first: verdicts tuned for celiac-grade caution • Every verdict names its source — a label claim, a verified database, or the ingredient list itself • Not sure? Chekio says "Risk" honestly instead of a false green light • Health limits you choose: flag high sugar, high salt, heavily processed products WORKS WHERE YOU SHOP • Product coverage for Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Poland, the UK and Ukraine • Translates ingredients from any language into yours • Offline database — verdicts keep working with no signal ASK CHEKIO • An assistant grounded in your needs and scans: snack ideas, substitutes, "what can I eat?" • It quotes verdicts — it never invents them CHEKIO PLUS Try Chekio free: 3 full scans with all features unlocked. Then Chekio Plus unlocks unlimited scanning — $29.99/year with a 3-day free trial, or $4.99/month. Prices shown upfront; cancel anytime in Settings. Your data stays yours: no account, no sign-up — your dietary settings stay on your device, and photos are processed transiently, never used for training. Always verify the label yourself before consuming, especially with a serious food allergy.
