About this app

Store photos, videos, letters, and voice memos in a digital time capsule with local encryption. Pick a future milestone—a birthday, a wedding anniversary, a graduation, or a letter to your future self—and seal your memories. Capsula encrypts your files directly on your device: no one can open or view them until the chosen date. Opening it feels like time travel. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create and personalize: Add the photos, videos, voice notes, and letters you want to treasure. Set the exact unlock date and generate your digital key. 2. Store your encrypted archive: Your locked capsule stays on your device or in your personal cloud (iCloud, Google Drive). Your files never touch our servers. 3. Track the countdown: Watch the days tick down directly in the app. The content remains entirely inaccessible until the scheduled day. 4. Travel back in time: When the timer hits zero, scan your key QR code or enter your text passphrase to decrypt and relive your memories. TIME CAPSULES WORTH SEALING · A letter to your future self: goals and reflections to reopen in 10 years. · Baby’s first year: a digital vault to hand over on their 18th birthday. · Wedding vows: rediscover your promises on your 10th anniversary. · Grandma's stories: audio recordings and memories to remember her by. · Graduation day: class letters and photos saved for your future reunion. WHY CAPSULA · Complete privacy: On-device encryption. We never host, transmit, or see your files. · Double custody: You keep the encrypted capsule; we only manage the date validation. · Your cloud, your rules: Save the sealed file on your local storage or preferred cloud service. · Zero subscriptions: One-time purchase per key to seal a capsule. Unused keys never expire. · Built to last: Even if Capsula were to stop operating, you would receive the instructions to ensure you can always decrypt your files independently. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How does pricing work? - Capsula sells keys. One key seals one capsule. Purchase them individually or in packs. It’s a one-time payment with no recurring monthly fees. Can multiple people add files? - You do it from your phone. To guarantee encryption security, a capsule is assembled and sealed on a single device. What happens if I misplace my key? - Your QR code and text key are the sole access to your encrypted vault. Treat them like the key to a safe and keep a secure backup.
