About this app

Leave something behind. Discover what others left for you. Cairn is a social experience built around discovery, creativity, and little surprises. Create a cairn, leave something inside it, and let someone else discover it. Pick up cairns left by others, add something of your own, and decide where the journey continues. 🪨 Create a Cairn Build your own cairn and fill it with whatever you want to leave behind. Words, thoughts, memories, messages, media, and more — you decide what your cairn means. 🗺️ Discover Cairns Explore cairns created by other people and discover what they've left behind. Some might be thoughtful. Some might be funny. Some might make absolutely no sense. That's the point. 🔄 Pick up. Add. Pass it on. Found a cairn you can pick up? You can experience what's already inside and add something of your own. When the cairn is dropped again, your new addition becomes the first thing the next person discovers — followed by everything that came before it. A small chain of contributions from one person to another. 📍 Relocatable or permanent When creating a cairn, you can choose whether it can be picked up and moved or whether it stays where it was created. Some things are meant to travel. Some things are meant to stay. 👤 Your identity Create an account, choose your username, and build your presence within the Cairn community. You can also browse publicly available content without creating an account where supported. 🌎 Leave your mark Cairn isn't about collecting points or completing levels. It's about leaving something behind and wondering who will find it next. Create. Discover. Add. Pass it on.
