About this app
The day you started. The day you finished. Keep those two and every book leaves behind how long it actually took you. ■ A book is a span of time, not a checkbox Tap one of four states — Unread, Reading, Finished, To Read. Choosing Reading asks for a start date. Choosing Finished asks for the finish date, a rating, and what you thought. Tapped the wrong one? Pick again and it comes back. You can also clear a book's history entirely and send it back to Unread. ■ Rereads add up instead of overwriting Read something a second time and it becomes a second entry, with its own start date, finish date, rating, and notes. What you thought at nineteen stays where you left it. Each pass can be edited or deleted on its own. ■ Three ways to add a book • Type it in — a title is enough. Author, publisher, publication date, and genre are there when you want them • Search by ISBN — enter the number and the title, author, publisher, and publication date are filled in from openBD • Scan with the camera — point it at the barcode on the back cover to read the ISBN (Premium) Covers are found automatically from the ISBN. When no cover exists, a title-based cover stands in, so the shelf never falls apart into blank rectangles. ■ Goals you can move Set a monthly or yearly target and progress is calculated from your finished books. When your pace changes, change the count or the period — the goal moves with you. ■ Badges that change with each cycle First finished book, three books, ten books, monthly goal, yearly goal, and Genre Explorer for finishing books across three or more genres. The same badge takes a different form on your second reading cycle, so a second year is worth its own keepsake. ■ Quiet by design No feed. No leaderboard. No friend list. Nothing you read is shown to anyone else, and your reading is never stacked up against someone else's count. Titles, author names, ISBNs, and the text of your notes are never sent for usage statistics. ■ Free • Up to 5 books • Reading state, start date, finish date, rating, notes, favorites • Rereads, tracked separately • Monthly and yearly goals with progress • Badges • Adding books by hand and by ISBN search ■ Bibliophilia Premium • Unlimited books • Add books by scanning the ISBN barcode with your camera ■ About the subscription • Bibliophilia Premium Monthly — auto-renewing, billed monthly • Bibliophilia Premium Yearly — auto-renewing, billed yearly • The price in your local currency is shown in the app before you confirm. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. • Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
